Mirit Eldor is Executive Vice President for Strategy. Mirit is responsible for developing and enabling the execution of Elsevier’s strategy, and spends much of her time looking at new ways to bring together content, data, technology and analytics.
Mirit joined Elsevier in 2015, and previously served as SVP strategy for Elsevier’s Health & Commercial businesses, covering industry segments including clinical solutions, health education, life sciences and engineering. Mirit led global growth strategies and helped grow the businesses into high-value areas, including advanced decision-support and analytics.
Before joining Elsevier, Mirit worked for Thomson Reuters in various strategy roles across information B2B sectors, including legal, IP solutions and life sciences. Earlier in her career, Mirit was a strategy consultant with McKinsey & Company in London, and an IP lawyer, specializing in IP licensing and protection. Mirit has an MBA (Distinction) from Imperial College, London, and an LL.B. (Magna cum laude) from Tel-Aviv University.
