Clemence Sicard received her PhD in 2010 from U. Paris Diderot (France) working on the encapsulation of micro-algae in silica matrices. She then carried out a postdoctoral stay at Mc Master University, in the group of Prof. John D. Brennan, developing Bioactive paper for diagnostic. Since 2013, she is Assistant Professor (maître de conférences) at University of Versailles (France).
Her current research interests are in the field of bio-hybrid materials, mainly combining Metal-Organic Frameworks and biological entities (proteins, cells,…) with applications in the environmental (depollution, detection) and in the vaccines field.
